COMMENTS

Our boat was owned by Perkins diesel and used as a test bed. for a number of years before being sold on and fitted out privately. we know the previous owner who ought it from Jones in St Ives but before that is a blank so if anyone has any info i would love to know.

Thank you for including "Grumpy's Toy" on your site, I have been a member followed you guys for a few years now and have yet to find a better owners site. We started our boating with a Norman 20 called "HiLo" and had some fun running up and down our stretch of the Great Ouse around St Neots in Cambridgeshire for a couple of summers

But we soon got fed up with banging our heads going below so we bought Mora a Norman 23 from Jones in st Ives. When we lost our mooring due to the owner selling we purchased our own little of river bank in little Paxton on the outskirts of St Neots. As the deal went through the previous owner offered us his old boat a Seamaster 26 and as it was just what we wanted we sold Mora and became the owner of Perky later to be named "Grumpys Toy" after a 1960s drag racer in he USA.

We understand that she was owned from new by Perkins diesel and was used as a test bed in Peterborough on the Nene until someone bought her and fitted her out in the 80s or 90s, we have approached Perkins for info but as yet had no reply.

The previous owner bought her from Jones in 2008 and we took her on in Dec 2014 and enjoyed her ever since.

I Have included pictures of the boat and my mooring.

All the best Sonny
